About the Laboratory

Laboratory of Environmental entomology is mainly working on the taxonomic study of insects to elicidate the local fauna and species diversity based on a big collection consists of over a milion specimens of insect. Works are also to createt the effective method for environmental assessment through the exact elucidation of the species construction in ecosystem based on insect systematics, the ecological study of both injurious and beneficial insects in agroecosystem, and to exploit the technique for integrated pest management including the practical using of the natural enemy.
