0, Consciousness
* You have to have consciousness as a member of MME.* Keep in mind that research is “team play”.
* Think about other members. Never be selfish.
1, Research
* Study well the background of your project. Understand the concept, history and perspective of your project.* Keep in touch with your supervisor.
* You yourself must think about your project. Think first by yourself, not ask first.
* Propose your original idea to your supervisor.
* Consider well what supervisor said before experiment.
* Devise your methods by yourself appropriately, which helps your advance.
* Do not waste everything, time, money, items and so on.
* Keep in mind that time is not unlimited. This is the most important in every work.
* Concentrate when you do works to avoid mistake. If you break equipments or decompose reagents (for example, if you leave a reagent which must be stored at -20oC at room temperaterue; if you leave the cap of bottle open) by your own mistake or on purpose, you might be asked to compensate the payment.
* Summarize your data every month. Never go next step without conclusion of the results.
* Keep in mind that all results of experiment must talk something to you.
2, Daily life
* You all have to arrive at lab by 8:30 AM, and clean up your lab. You must have responsibility to keep lab clean* Consult and discuss with members in morning meeting.
* If you are not able to arrive until 8:30, notice the situation to supervisor or secretary. (Mobile phone or e-mail is convenient)
* Do not stay at night unless you have work. (To avoid risk, confidence of data and so on)
* Observe Japanese social morality. Study Japanese language.
* Games, comics, personal webs are not permitted in lab. You can enjoy these at home.
3, Safety control
* Keep in mind that lab is dangerous place.* Completely understand how to throw away wastes. This is very complicated work.
* Study discretion method.
* Completely understand how to operate gas, tap water, distilled water and electricity.
* If you unfortunately get disease, do not come to lab. Take a rest at home or counsel at hospital.
