We are theoretically and
practically investigating the methodology of the watershed management,
through clarifying the function of forest on soil and water conservation
and on headwater conservation and recharge improvement.
The meaning of this watershed management includes the forest engineering technology as well as the erosion control engineering technology, such as the proper forest road construction. In addition, an approach on environmental revegetation and landscape technology for arid zone, devastated land and urban area is another important subject of our laboratory. Final purposes are prevention of the natural disaster and establishment of the environmental improvement technology. |
